#AskTheExpert his right eye is being swallowed and quite pinkish in corner. no idea how this happened? kindly advice how to cure?

A. Go to doctor and he will prescribe your eye drops for your baby.

A. Eye Redness is commonly seen because of some allergic condition , infection or any trauma wchich needs proper examination. if it is associated with some discharge it could be infection but no self medication should be used.

A. A cool compress (like a washcloth with cool water) may help with swelling and puffiness. Your baby's doctor may also recommend using a saline (salt) solution to help rinse out your baby's eyes. If your newborn has pink eye caused by bacteria, the doctor may also prescribe an antibiotic.
