#asktheexpert hii,, I m mother of Mishka. I want to know about my baby's growth. She is 5 months old. Her weight 4.800gms.Her birth weight is 2.400gms

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, if your baby’s birth weight was 2.4 kg then current weight of 4.8 kg is absolutely normal for 5 months old baby, do not worry. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier, which your baby has already achieved.

Give adequate feeding every two hours of intervals
Weight is absolutely normal
Give ultra D3 drops and calcium supplements
Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation
Try to keep head up position while feeding
