#AskTheExpert HII GOOD MORNING. MY SON IS NOT GAINING WEIGHT. HE IS NOT EATING PROPERLY. HE HAS CONSTIPATION PROBLEM AND TAKING MEDICINE FOR THAT . PLEASE GIVE ME A REMEDY TO MAKE HIM EAT WELL AND GAIN WEIGHT

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. the wait gain of the child depends upon the died the child is taking as well as it depends upon the genetic patterns of weight gain and for constipation along with dietary modification you may have to continue constipation medicine till the problem gets cured with increasing age of the child

Make meal time fun with toys and story
Offer different varieties of food
Give three meal and two snacks including seasonal fruits vegetables cereals pulses whole grains milk products
Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation
Maintain hygiene
Maintain hydration
