#asktheexpert Hii dr. Dis is harini , my baby is 10 days old now , he is not able to drink milk he is crying a lot but not drinking milk he is taking lot of time to drink milk , is it ok for baby health

A. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper. if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this. see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment.h take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself. take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It might be due to colic issues in the baby. Please massage baby stomach with BabyHug coconut oil clockwise and anti-clockwise. You can also apply hing water on baby stomach. Also do some cycling leg exercises of the baby to relieve from constipation and gas. Please make the baby burp after every feed. Mother should chew saunf and ajwain after every meal. Thanks and take care
