#AskTheExpert Hii doctor I have a 28 days old baby but he is having eye infection which is coming and going again n again yellow discharge is coming n eye has became red n small can you please tell us what can be done?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Eye discharge in newborns is common and often the result of a blocked tear duct. The blockage will usually clear up by itself within 4 to 6 months.

Nitasha SharmaMom of a 4 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. hii dear mom, my baby also had same problem, doctors said this is normal and it's due to blockage of a duct, u should massage him, plz go to ur paediatrician to know the right way of massage..it's absolutely normal, I massaged him for 2 months and now he is fine.
