#AskTheExpert Hi sir, our daughter is 6 year old. Her weight is 20kg. She is gaining weight year to year, but she is becoming too thin (skinny) when compared to last year.. is it due less intake of water or something else..Pl help us

A. do check her thyroid once n for further advice, Details of clinical examination and associated symptoms are required, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

A. hi as a child is having enough weight ,it is ok to look thin nothing to worry because physique mostly determined by genetics so if your child looks happy and active, gains enough weight, achieve age appropriate milestones then no need to worry about her physical appearance.
