add veggies, give fruit purees.
better to give more fruits, veggies ,instead of sweets as children don't have much likes and dislikes at this age.
so they accept variety of flavors.

Dear mom Once you start with semisolid food in the body takes a little bit more time to gain weight because that is something new that you have introduced to the child so have some patience keep feeding proper food to the child try to balance the diet with proper fibre and protein and you will see a good difference if within a months time
