#AskTheExpert hi sir, my son age is 6. his weight 16.5 . his weight is not increasing . what can I do

A. it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and in that pattern only the weight gain will be present It also depends upon the diet the child is taking so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplements. the child should be given different flavours and recipes made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily in small amount. you can I add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child it would be advisable to meet your doctor to find the cause of less weight in your child

A. Hi parent please include natural probiotics and dairy products in your child daily diet like fresh curd buttermilk lassi butter paneer ghee milk etc please include green leaf veggies and fresh fruit and different seeds and nuts in your child daily diet
