#AskTheExpert Hi sir, my son 35 days old, he had some red and white dots in his body elders are saying it is 'Sevappu' what was the remedy sir.

lucky LathaMom of a 3 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. if u are using any bath powders stop immediately use only baby soap for bathing to baby....then rashes will go away by it self..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Red Colour Rash over the body if present could be some allergy rashes which may be of sudden onset along with itching.
or it tcould be viral exanthematous rash where the the onset of rashes is there along with fever or assosiated symptoms. and it could be some igjnfection also which needs proper examination.
Application of calamine lotion or Anti itch lotion like Ritch lotion can be done for soothing along with antiallergic medications initially.
