#AskTheExpert hi sir..my son 10 month old baby.he is affected for cold and cough..he is constantly doctor some sryp..and injection for one week.. cough is over sir..so I m nevers .

Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral ifnfection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and dercongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent sucsh temperature variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization. when azllergies are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine
