#AskTheExpert Hi sir ,my baby is now 3 and half months old. her birth was 3.5 kgs and she's 5.46 now. is the weight gain too low ? and is it a matter of concern ?

A. Hello ma’am I don’t think so your child’s weight gain is too slow because your child has gained almost the double of birth weight so it is perfectly fine. Anyways the doctor say if a child gains somewhere on 500 g to 1 KG every month that is considered a very good weight gain so as of now I don’t think so you need to worry about anything
