Q.

#AskTheExpert hi, my son is 5 months old and he was born at 35 weeks 1 month premature. he still hasn't rolled over. he turns sideways and he tries to 60% to roll over but he can't. he kicks his legs and keeps hands in mouth and active. even if we make him lying on tummy he lifts his head and all but still not rolled over. is it anything to worry about

A. hi , my baby turned 5 months old yesterday, he started rolling over just 2 days ago. till then he also used to turn 60% and then give up. 2 days ago he suddenly just did it.. and he was born full term too, so he took his sweet time to reach this milestone.. so don't worry, give the baby lots of tummy time throughout the day and let them be , they'll get there when they are ready..

A. complete neck holding comes only after 6 months of age and the baby will be able to sit with support after this so you should wait and do not force the child
