#asktheexpert Hi, my son is 3 years 3 months old.... my question is that still he's not speaking though he speaks words like animals name, mumma, egg, chik-chik(chicken), chok-chok(chocolate), juice, give me, help me these types of words and sentences . just want to know that is it normal. he's very active. Actually he's my second child and my first child (my daughter now she's 6.1 years), when she was 3 years old she used to speak properly. please ๐ tell me what should I do. I'm a single mother.

asked frequent question or or make him ask for it and then give it to him- a process called .
encourage your baby is he or she repeat or even try.
try making him say the name of objects .
Describe for your child what they are doing, feeling and hearing in the course of the day.
Encourage storytelling and sharing information.
Donโt try to force your child to speak.
Read books aloud n Sing to your child .

Author of questionGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Thank you so much ma'am. Actually most of the time he watches TV and mostly likes animals related programs and what activities he watch, tries to copy..
for example: if he saw any program there kids are colouring and washing animals toys he does same.. even he likes animal toys and tries to copy animals activities..... is it right? should I stop him to do these activities?
