#AskTheExpert Hi.. My son is 1 year and 6 month old and i want to leave his habbit of breast feading at night. He only need breast feading at night so how can i leave his habbit of feading.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. try to give a proper diet specially before sleeping in the night to the child and you can apply femite lotion over the nipples it will help because it is a bitter solution

what you can do is ,offer food like sheera, rab etc at night time meal .
give warm milk to drink before sleep time
whenever your child wake up at midnight , try to offer water instead of breastmilk.
you can ask your partner or family member to help you to put your child for sleep back by gently patting or rubbing his/her back.
