Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi, My son Abeer Srivastava has one undesended testicle. He is 17 months old. Our pediatrician said we can wait for the testicle to transend down in sack on its own for another 7 months. And should plan for surgery only if it doesn't. Plz suggest should we wait or go ahead with the surgery immediately as I read everywhere that it should be done between 6 to 12 months.

A. You Can actually wait for some more time sometimes it decends on its own only but since your doctor said that you can wait for 6 to 7 more months if it does not come down on its own then you can go for the surgery it is always good to wait rather than immediately going for surgery so you can wait
