Q.

#asktheexpert Hi, My nipples were kinf of flat when I gave birth to my daughter. Now they have taken shape but they are cracked. It always hurts when I breastfeed her. I also feel a burning sensation in my breast when she is done feeding and feel like rubbing my breast. I tried putting breastmilk on my nipples and used ghee as well but nothing worked.

A. do aplly nip care cream over crack nipples.. Rinse the breast after each feeding with water to reduce the risk of infection. Apply a cold pack to numb the injured area before nursing. Cold can help dull the pain.give comfortable feeding position n allow hera good latch

A. Hi doc, Nipcare cream makes the stretched nipple back to how it was, flat. It hurts even more when I feed her after putting the cream.
