#AskTheExpert hi...my exclusively breastfed baby girl is 3.5 months old.she used to feed for about 20 mins till 3 months ...as she entered her 4th month , she now feeds for 8-10 mins...is this normal? also, is it a must for a baby to empty the breast during each feed?

Yes it is see you have to understand the sucking capacity of the child becomes better over the period I need you feel that your feet is less not sufficient then you can check for the weight of the chalice you if your child is gaining sufficiently as per the age then it should not be a problem and if not can you can start giving powder milk to the childWrite Your Answer Here
