Q.

#asktheexpert hi, my daughter is 7.5months old, she has suddenly started refusing spoon feed solids. When I tried the same food through bottle feed she took it well, but yes she eats fruit puree through spoon. Why the sudden change? Is it because of teething or gum is hurt bcz of spoon??

A. Hi kids usually suffer from loss of appetite during the teething phase and they feel irritated due to itching in the gums caused by the erupting teeth.. gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth to provide relief
