#asktheexpert Hi… my daughter is 1year 6 month old and her weight is 14 kg. She is having cough and cold which medicine I have to give and what will be the quantity. Currently I’m giving maxtra to her but it’s not effective. Should I continue the same? Please tell me quantity also

no
first thing ,dont give syrup or medicine for long time.
especially ,such self medication must be avoided.
Medicine and its dosage depends on many things like child weight ,age and severity of symptoms too
