#asktheexpert hi my daughter age is 6 years 11 months .in midnight she was crying alot from heavy leg pains gap of 20 days or 1 month some times in week 2 times .may I know what is the reason .Is it calcium deficiency or growing pains.reason for calcium deficiency refer me syrup

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. There are multiple causes of limb pain during this age because it can be normal due to groxwth pain. it can also occur due to nutritional deficiency mainly vitamin d, vitamin b12 iron and calcium deficiency. if there is excessive playful activity by the child during the daytime it is but obvious that during the night time there might xbe limb pain. if the limbs are paining without any activity then yes medical examination and treatment will be required Thanks and take care
