Okay so first you should know that the child should gain weight with the breastfeeding that you are giving to the child because it is as therefore first month it should be exclusive breastfeeding in that case despite of giving proper feeding if your child is not gaining weight then you should consult your doctor once and you can start giving formula milk for better growth
