#AskTheExpert Hi, my child has just started latching and now it hurts alot during the feeding. The skin has sored and milk supply stopped. pl suggest

yes initial days with newborns are very hard.
but please don't give up.
try different feeding position.
use nipple shield for time being.
apply nip care cream or freshly expressed breastmilk on cracked nipples.
but always rinse it well before you start feeding.
wear loose fitting Cotton clothes.
keep that area clean
maintain good hygiene
