#AskTheExpert Hi, My baby is not gaining much weight she is 2year and still 8.5 kg. but overall she is active and responsive.

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mom it’s good that she is active and responsive as well , was she a preterm baby as such ? Because if so then their weight gain would be slow . As far as full term baby almost triple their birth weight by the age of 1 year and then it doubles by the age of 5 years .
