#AskTheExpert hi my baby is 9 months old and ebf.. Can I take covid vaccination. does it cause any issue with breastfeeding?

A. yes thank you. Paed told vaccination is mandatory now and told to take. He said if I face any problem and if I want can hold breastfeeding for one week else continue.

A. Hi, as per the government rule the vaccination is not given to breastfeeding moms and pregnant ladies and kids below 18 years. But paediatricians are suggesting to go for the vaccination. So it is completely your decision. So please check with your paediatrician and you can decide.
