#asktheexpert Hi, My baby is 5 months old. Her body temperature seems high when we touch ( hold ) her (specially head). When I check the temperature under arms it varies from 97.5 to 98.3. We are observing this from past 2weeks. Is it normal ? How much body temperature is normal for babies ?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. 98-99 normal b. there are various reasons for the baby to have fever starting from infections like viral bacterial inflammations we had to treat with only paracetamol which is safe if the fever is more than 100 degre
