#AskTheExpert Hi my baby is 2months 10days old. He is 5.7kgs and his birth weight was 3.97 kgs. He nurses for 4-5 mins each time. He is breastfed only. Is he underweight?

ExpertDR MINAL ACHARYANutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, your baby is not underweight. Weight of 5.7 kg is absolutely normal for 2+ months old baby considering a birth weight of 3.97 kg. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month.
