#asktheexpert hi my baby is 19 months old . his weight gain very slow . he is currently 9.8 kgs . birth weight was 3kgs. till one year it ws going smooth. after that not gaining properly. eating well . active n achieving milestones. but not gaining weight

A. Hello mom after the age of 1 the weight gain is slower comapretively now, the toddler as expected triple their birth weight by 1 and then doubles by 5 years of age, as far as they are active for their age & also eating well their is no issues, some varartion is acceptable.
