#AskTheExpert Hi my baby is 1.5 months old. I breastfeed him. He developed oral thrush and due to which my nipples have become pink and it's pains a lot while feeding. Plz advise

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Thrush often goes away on its own in a few days. Your provider may prescribe antifungal medicine to treat thrush. You paint this medicine on your baby's mouth and tongue. If you have a yeast infection on your nipples, your provider may recommend an over-the-counter or prescription antifungal cream.
