Q.

#asktheexpert hi. My baby girl is now 3 months 1 week old and she weighs 5.47 kgs. When she was 2 half months she weighed 5 kgs. As you can see she did not gain weight much. Is it anything to worry? She’s happy playful and sleeping, peeing nd pooping well too. Is it because my milk supply is less?

A. Yes I believe that is the only reason when a child is not gaining weight even on minimum 400 g in a month that means the milk you are giving to the child is not sufficient for the child so it could be due to lack of your breastfeeding or you are breastfeeding is to light to gain proper weight to the child
