#AskTheExpert hi my baby boy was born on 4th may at 8:20 PM that time weight is about 1.7kg and now he is 16 day's old weight is gained Only 50gm thta is 1.75kg plz give me a solution for to increase weight

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. Yeah don't worry. in the first 3 months, babies put on about 800-900grams each month. From 3-6 months, weight gain reduces to 1/2 kg/month. from 6-9 months, it becomes 1/3, and for 9-12 months, it becomes 1/4 kg. the birth weight doubles in the 4th month and triples when they reach 12 months of age.
