Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi My baby 3month 15days old,he is having only breastfeed,he doesn't gain weight that much.what can I do for that.

A. baby should gain at least 500 gram per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months or less have frequent skin to skin contact, at one time feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain ensure that baby latches properly during breastfeeding.

A. I think he latches properly , whenever I take nipple of his mouth ,it's wet with milk..I can feel it& I will completely give one side then move on to other.still I have big worry.. Should I increase breastfeed time & wat kind of food should I have.he nurse 10-15mins per feed 😭 What to do with this..
