Hi.. my 4 year old boy, does not chew food, he keeps food in his mouth for a long time, it takes me 3 hours to feed him 1 bowl of rice which has tiny cut veggies.. i have tried all the way possible to make him eat faster.. please suggest what can be done that will make him eat food

if you are concern regarding this query for this it is better to take guidance with your doctor and doctor will give you all clarification regarding your query so you can consult your doctor once for good Growth of the child it is important that the child should get proper nutritional requirement which is very important for the growing child specially  iron and vitamin D is required for better growth and cognition . also there is role of other micronutrients.
one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types  of nutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the ghirowth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.
