#AskTheExpert hi my 4 months male baby on formula feeding similac advance potty is in dark green colour and solid. consulted doctor but he said not to worry. this happens to lot of babies. my wife is worried. please suggest. thanks in advance

A. brown yellow green all colour of stools are common in babies if the consistency is normal frequency is fine baby is active gaining weight feeding properly .. green is the commonly seen in babies drink formula Milk or if they are suffering from mild cold and cough

A. Hello Green colour stool is not always alarming. It can be because of natural or artificial food intake in mothers diet or can also be because of formula milk. If your baby is active and taking proper feed on time then everything is fine and nothing to worry about so you should not worry about it at all. Happy parenting Stay home stay safe

Q. #AskTheExpert My child is 4 month 5 days. He wont poop regularly. so I change formula from lactogene to similac then similac advance. still he doesn't poop regularly. His milk intake is also very low about 400ml . With lactogene and nan pro he was pooping in dark green colour and with similac and advance similac he poop in yellow colour but amout of potty is less as compared to earlier. plz guide is it ok or what would be the reason . shall I switch back to lactogen
