Q.

#AskTheExpert My child is 4 month 5 days. He wont poop regularly. so I change formula from lactogene to similac then similac advance. still he doesn't poop regularly. His milk intake is also very low about 400ml . With lactogene and nan pro he was pooping in dark green colour and with similac and advance similac he poop in yellow colour but amout of potty is less as compared to earlier. plz guide is it ok or what would be the reason . shall I switch back to lactogen

A. hi, constipation n green stoll is common in formula fed babies. this will require evaluation by your pediatrician and change into a suitable formula, if he is passion hard stool.

A. it's not hard stool but as he didn't pass stool regularly he wont take milk much

A. Formula-fed babies typically poop three to four times a day, but some go as long as three or four days without a bowel movement. As long as your baby's poops are soft and passed without a struggle, you don't have to be concerned. But call your pediatrician if your little one doesn't poop for more than five days.
