Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day
weaning has three stages in which it can be started .
stage 1 consists of introduction of semi solid food which is done at 5 to 6 months of age . it should be given gradually.
stage 2 consists vgof more textured and new taste to baby by 7 months of age
stage 3 in which a more variety of food can be started by 9-12 monthsv of age...

Mam,for healthy development of your child ,you must offer food like different vegetables and fruits puree ,mix veg khichdi , porridge ,kheer , khichu etc
you can add two drops of ghee while serving food like khichdi,sheera etc
