#AskTheExpert Hi Mam , My son is of 1 month old and he isn't sleeping at night fully crying. Kindly suggest how to deal with this situation

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. Thank you doctor for your response. I have some few turn around questions. Can colic aid drops be given daily if the baby is crying due to colic?? or is it harmful if we give daily?? Also I observe that he has much fear for some reason and he sleeps on the lap more instead of bed .Baby is breastfed. Kindly suggest ways of reducing his fear to put him to sleep at night times especially.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. baby usually cries for the reason like gastric pain which can be relieved by giving collicaid drops or gastica drops.
usually in children below 6 month of age especially those who are fed on formula milk have more gastric colic.so,proper burping after feeding is must.
other renfasons could be nose blockage, diaper rash and may be more like hunger or sleep, any fear or stubbornness ,so accordingly may be assessed and taken care of.
if the crying behaviour doesnot resolve,visit your doctor.
