Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is thmost common.
Supplements like iron supplements and multivitagmin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite.
Diet counselling is also very important .
