A. no can't give solids. Breastfeeding Mother milk is the best nutrition for baby . Recommended is to give exclusive mother milk to baby for six months of age for best immunity brain development and good digestion . No need to give formula milk . No need to give gripe water or ghutti or water till six months of age .

A. Generally Any liquids or semisolids or Solids are advisable only after six months. Until then exclusive breastfeeding or formula alone is good for baby (not even water) as their digestive system will be still sensitive and immature. WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding until six months.
