#asktheexpert hi mam, i am 31 weeks 6 days pregnant and I am facing hemorrhoids issue for last 4-5 days. i used to have hemorrhoids many years back but recently there are new ones that are extremely painful after I had an episode of constipation. I used to apply anovate topical ointment then but now even after 4 days of regular and repeated applications, the issue still persists. please advise. Fyi the hemorrhoids are swollen and tender, also painful even without touching.
