#AskTheExpert hi I recently weaned my baby off breastfeeding,its been 14 days since weaning off but I am still producing milk in one breast. though the quantity have reduced significantly milk is being produced and one breast is slightly engorged. how long does it take for the milk production to stop completely

A. It happens so manually express the milk and apply warm compress on the breast which you feel is engorged and you feel relief abd if excessive pain then rahe paracetamol take care and stay safe

A. Hello mom Some others doesn’t get sufficient milk in such is the best alternative of mother’s milk is formula milk. So you can start giving formula milk to your baby. Even formula will contains all the nutrition is baby need a regular diet plan so there is no need to give anything else to your baby till you baby turned six months old
