#AskTheExpert Hi, I am right now 31 weeks pregnant and am worried that in my recent scan I got to know my baby is in transverse lie position. will this be a major issue? am okay with c section also but am worried that this should not affect my baby in any means. please let me know about this condition. Thanks

The baby can change position even until the 36 weeks of pregnancy so don’t worry about the position and usually if the baby is in an altered position then there could be a slight anatomical deformity in the uterus which might have caused it.
