#AskTheExpert Hi, I am feeling pain in breast and some swelling in armpit. Also last week I visited doctor since I was feeling a lump in breast which still persists. want to know if this is due to milk ducts being blocked and just by taking antibiotics will it be cured?

Neelam ChinnappaMom of a 7 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. thank you for reaching out to us with your question yes it is highly possible since you are breast-feeding a baby that there is a blocked at what you can do is use hot water fomentation and massage the lump to help dissolve it if you see no improvement and the pain percept it is best to reach out your gynecologist who will prescribe medication for the same make sure your pumping the milk out so that it will ease the pain
