#asktheexpert Hi ! I am 4 months post partum mother with very low milk supply, due to ? tongue tie and lip tie in baby. I barely pump 4 to 5 oz milk daily. Is there any advantage of giving baby so little breast milk?

The key to increasing your milk supply is frequent stimulation and emptying of the breasts. This may take some time and it is important that you seek advice and support from a lactation consultant, your maternal and child health nurse or other health care professional skilled in breastfeeding management.
