#asktheexpert hi.. during delivery my wife was having a high blood pressure and our gynecologist has told us after delivery it will get normal but now even after 3.5 months of delivery my wife is having a very high blood pressure ranging 140/90 almost at all the time.. please suggest a a way by which my wife's blood pressure gets normal.

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. relax it means that the lady is hypertensive ok. go to a hood physician Cut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down.
