#asktheexpert Hi Dr., My son is 9m old and we have to make him sleep for his day naps by using a pacifier and rocking him.He always wants to suckle or need pacifier to fall asleep. How long is using pacifier OK and How do we gradually stop using it ?

A. it is advisable advisable to stop the uses of of pacifier before the first tooth eruption otherwise it can lead to problems in that you think face in the child
