#AskTheExpert hi dr if child passes the gas nd it's smiling nd not passing motion for 2 to 3 days is it because of the baby is not getting enough of milk daily

Constipation is a chronic problem seen in children and most important cause is diet modification so firstly it should be taken care of. give good fibre diet with plenty of liquids and avoidance of food which can aggravate constipation like Banana excess of milk and maida containing food.
medidecations like lactulose PEG or glycerine suppository should be second option
