you can begin with foods like porridges (like rice, Ragi, wheat flour , moong dal and rice flour mix) , kheer
then dal-rice with vegetables, veg khichadi, soft mashed fruits, curds,
later mashed paneer cheese, Vegetable Daliya
consistency of food should be like that of ghee
avoid water thin foods like thin dals and rice water, soups. Squeeze lemon in baby's food for iron absorption.
start with 3-4 tsp and then about half katori per meal about 2 to 3 meals per day.
give 1 food for about 3-6 days for baby to accept and to see how baby tolerates it then introduce another new food
SanthoshiMom of a 1 yr 9 m old girl1 Year agoA. Hi your baby should have completed six months for any other foods like water or juice or even any other food. This is because only milk provides all the necessary nutrients. And early solid foods will lead to stomach upset and constipation
