#asktheexpert hi doctr my baby is 27 days old and im not getting milk so im feeding baby with formula. he isnt burping affer feeding also getting gases. and he is doing vomitting after feeding him. kindly help what to do

Burp in sitting position better than on shoulder
keeping the head and chest at a level higher than stomach helps to reduce vomit.
if baby is passing urine more than 7 times a day is active and alert and gaining adequate weight ,at least 500 gram per month then do not worry

For the first 6 months, breast milk is all your baby needs to meet his or her nutrition needs. If you wean your baby before 12 months of age, be sure to give an iron-fortified formula. Breastfeeding should continue until your baby is 12 months old (and after as long as baby and mom would like to continue).
