#AskTheExpert Hi doctor she is having 103.6 degree fever what can I do I have given her Ibugesic - 3.5ml in 11:30 but still fever is more only

For FEVER as well as PAIN kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature.
Also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give Paracetamol.
higher medicines for fever like like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation.
After giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving.
Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever

Neelam sharmaMom of a 15 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. give baby crocine syrup 3 ml and repeat it after 6 hours if gap but i suggest you to please visit doctor in emergency as this is high for 1 year old baby , avoid doing self medication as it may ruin the condition.
