#asktheexpert hi doctor ! My son is 6 month old now. he had loose motion and doctor prescribed bipilac GG sachet. After 5 days loose motion settled down for him but number of times he poops for a day was increased. I am giving 3 times solids for him but he poops 4 - 5 times a day...is it normal? His weight is 7.7 kg now ....please guide me what to do next...

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. okay no problem giving. in loose motions baby will be losing lot of water and electrolytes please give ORS coconut water milk and zinc to the baby to avoid dehydration if the baby is getting dehydrated better to see the doct
